Big Read Tucson "If My Verse Is Alive. . . " A performance of new dance & music inspired by Emily Dickinson
photo by Jade BeallAs a part of Kore Press' Big Read Tucson, New ARTiculations Dance Theatre, with visiting dance artist Katherine Ferrier of The Architects along with local sound genius Vicki Brown, will present an evening-length dance & music performance inspired by the life and poetry of Emily Dickinson. The performance will feature original musical compositions by Vicki Brown (on violin and pedals) with new choreography by New ARTiculations and Katherine Ferrier. Costumes designed and made by Barbara Seyda, lighting design by Don Fox. The performance takes place at the Pima Community College Center for the Arts Proscenium Theater on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. Regular tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. VIP tickets, which include special seating and private reception, are also available for $40. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or below.
