MARTHA STANTON

Martha Stanton enlisted in the Air Force in 1951, during the Korean War. She also served in Germany, England and Australia. In Vietnam, she worked as a Field Reporter, where she was responsible for covering the progress of the agreement between Presidents Nixon and Thieu known as Vietnamization. Stanton retired in 1971, at age 49. Powder includes her first published work.
